Prayer Sky: learn the five daily prayers
Prayer Sky is a game about the five daily prayers: Noori names a prayer and your child taps the sky that matches the time of day — dawn for Fajr, sunset for Maghrib. Older children put the prayers in order and match them to their day.
Teacher review under way.
How to play
- 1Listen to Noori: “It's time for Maghrib — which sky is it?”.
- 2Tap the speaker on a sky card to hear it, then tap the one that matches.
- 3On level 2, put the sky cards in order from Fajr to Isha.
- 4On level 3, match the prayers to your own day and count the rak'ahs.
What your child learns
- The names of the five daily prayers
- Their order through the day
- Linking each prayer to the time of day (dawn, midday, afternoon, sunset, night)
For grown-ups
Look at the real sky together at prayer times and ask, “Which prayer is next?”. The game uses a soft chime rather than the adhan. Families and madhhabs differ on some details — ask your teacher.
